Aware Within, the name of my private psychotherapy practice, was created for people like you looking for the support to create meaningful and lasting change in your life.
I support clients through integrative sessions that incorporate transformative healing work, combining scientific proven methods, techniques, and exercises to help you towards your goals. Something deeper holding you backMaking change requires gaining clarity about the issue and identifying what's at the root triggering it.
Then, you need to dig deep and be committed to do the healing work. This is a process. There is no magic switch. Therapy is not always comfortable, but it is productive. There is a saying, "The only way out, is through." It's taken a lifetime to get where you are today. What's not working for you did not show up overnight. What's standing between you and these changes?
You, actually. Or more accurately, your mindset.
Your mindset is mostly unconscious. And, the unconscious mind drives how you behave. It's in charge of what you attract and the decisions you make. So, despite your best efforts, when you don't get the results you want there is more going on in the unconscious than you are aware of. Your mind is always trying to keep you safe. It has learned what is safe and unsafe based on experiences in your life. As a result, it will move mountains, also known as self-sabotage, to keep you in its perceived safe zone. While this is a protective move, it's also responsible for keeping you stuck and repeating the same mistakes in your life.
