Born and raised in Toronto, I grew up enjoying the Blue Mountains as a weekender until I moved up to the area permanently in the mid-90's.
I wasn't always a therapist. My first degree was in Therapeutic Nutrition & Health Sciences and I've had a few experience-growing life and career changes over the years.
A Window into My Story
As a fellow human, I also know what it feels like to struggle, be in overwhelm, feel stuck, experience heartbreak, loss, grief, anger, and to question why life and relationships are sometimes frustrating, confusing and difficult.
After recognizing painful repeating patterns and making overdue changes in my life, I reached out for support and embarked on my own healing journey. That positive therapy experience ignited me to change my life course, return to school and complete a practical Masters in Psychotherapy.
My varied psychotherapeutic trainings and life experiences come together in the work I do with my clients. This unique and multi-dimensional background helps to inform my integrative approach to therapy.
